Chapter Nine

She Says: Watch out! I have started a list of things I want to talk about! Will dispense info and thoughts over multiple posts.

First... This is obviously no longer a he said she said blog... sorry that Jason's humor is no longer contributed, I know it is a draw. He hasn't formally resigned, but the pattern dictates my logical proclamation. Says he has nothing to say. When has he ever not had anything to say? I'm appreciate all who to are hanging in with me. Yes, even though there are no posted comments, I do hear from people!

Did everyone read Marvin Chernoff's column in The State on February 19? If not, it is a must read... explains what is so good about Columbia! And why we want to live in the heart of it. I want to write Mr. Chernoff and say right on! Tell him about the couple up from Charleston for the weekend.  http://www.thestate.com/2012/02/19/2157376/chernoff-if-only-i-lived-in-charleston.html

If you haven't visited the Body Works Vital exhibit at the State Museum, GO! It is the best $18 I have spent in a while. Go early or on a weekday to avoid the crowds. It isn't creepy, but informative and it is art! The exhibit closes tax day, April 15, 2012.

First Thursday on Main is Rolling in Like a Lion! Let me know if you want to meet at Frame of Mind to view “Intersections” by Whitney LeJeune, Anastasisa and Friends' The Painted Violins   (that will be auctioned off to benefit the SC Philharmonic!), or S&S Art Supply's exhibit TRANCE by Devon Jeremy and Beth LaRose.
Those that have lived here longer than me may want to bring old photos and memories of the lunch counter at Tapp's. The Fountain Room plans to open in early April and will display some memories to  document its history in the reinvented room. Maybe they want my handicapped restroom on second floor sign I received from a someone assisting with the construction when Tapp's closed!
