I wanted to go to the first Friday event on Main Street this past week, but thought I had a conflict with the Nickelodeon Fundraiser (My Big Fat Gay Wedding - HILARIOUS). It is really on Thursdays, will try again in March.
Tuesday night if you are free, head to The Thirsty Fellow from 5-8, 10% of all food sales will go to Howlmore. Howlmore is a safe haven for animals in need. The sanctuary provides a home for animals that are not easily adoptable (www.howlmore.org). I have three friends that volunteer there and love it. I am also feeling guilty that Move The Nick won the annual (late this year) holiday charity drawing we participate in with a group of friends. I think at least 4 people put in Howlmore...
